Through outreach and worship, HOPE’s Communication & Media Ministry connects with the congregation, the community, and individuals beyond in order to inspire, inform, and invite participation into the life, mission, and purpose of the Church. This is achieved through social media, worship media, networking, podcasts, cyber church, graphic elements, and other special projects.
The Communications & Media Ministry focuses on a four point strategy:
“Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Matthew 28: 19-20 (NKJV)
Hope’s Diaconate Ministry cares for the spiritual needs of the membership. Deacons are selected members who possess a spiritual commitment, display a model life, embrace a compassionate spirit, and has the discernment to make sound judgments. A Deacon or deaconess should know their own spiritual gifts, and have a good knowledge of God’s Word.
The Diaconate serves by focusing on with the spiritual needs of the congregation through visitations, prayer, counseling, benevolence, serving communion, baptizing, and by being an extension of the Pastor.
